Lake Superior Agates
A lot of new rock material is dragged up on shore by the huge ice chunks that form during winter on Lake Superior and then is blown into shore. Once these melt it is a great time to look for new agates before the tourist season hits. If you are wondering, none of these are larger than a dime. Just because they are small does not mean they don't have the signature bands of an agate.
